The team at Michigan Glass Coatings was happy to be able to help Beaumont Hospital Proton Therapy Center in Royal Oak, Michigan with a unique project they had. They wanted a custom graphic film that would provide privacy of areas with glass panels, but they also wanted to use this as an opportunity to improve the decor with something interesting. After we consulted with them to understand their needs, we did a custom deomonstration print to install on a test panel at the Center. This allowed them to view the idea in place to determine if they wanted to move forward with all the panels they were considering. Once they had the opportunity to see the design on the glass, they wanted to test it with several differing levels of opacity. They wanted to lock in something that gave the desired privacy, but still had a translucent quality. We printed several additional samples and installed them side by side for the client to view and make a selection.
Once they selected the sample that provided the look and privacy they wanted, we proceeded to print the custom graphic film in that opacity for the entire project. From start to finish, including the sample phase, the job was completed in roughly three weeks. The final result was exactly what the client had in mind and they are extremely pleased with it.
